About The Event
Step into the sonic world of BADTAB, New Zealand’s neo-psychedelic project formed by multi-instrumentalists Ethan Downing, Hamish McKinley, Manaaki Tibble, Kahukuranui Hunter-Brown, and Louis Nixon. Known for their kaleidoscopic synthesizers, swirling guitar strums, and rock- and jazz-inspired drum beats, BADTAB delivers a unique and refreshing sound.
This immersive surround sound experience, held at Te Kohure at Massey University’s Wellington Campus (Block One), will take you on a musical journey where each layer of their genre-defying sound surrounds you from all directions. Blending psychedelic soundscapes with dynamic live performances, BADTAB invites you to lose yourself in a fusion of rich textures and rhythms. Joining the lineup are The Chips with their energetic alternative pop and rising stars Stolen Paris and Mongozo, representing the alternative scene.
Doors open at 7 PM, so come early and prepare for a night that will push musical boundaries and redefine how live performances are experienced.
